R. Stephen Bolle’s The Journey: of a Normal Christian Life, illuminates readers through the mind and spirit, with this motivating collection of spirited testimonials within which he shares his personally transformative experiences in his Christian based life. This is a remarkable work fraught with holy inspiration and insight while resounding with the absolute working eminence of God’s word, issuing love, protection and guidance to believers.
Having embraced Christianity from a young age and then later becoming a pastor and missionary, Author Bolles thoroughly understands, as well as demonstrates with authority, the divine premise that Scripture is the guiding force which develops a lucid understanding of the relationship you should have with God.
Altogether throughout the book, Bolles employs a comforting tone as he divulges anecdotally, an earnest message of hope for a better life. Furthering the message, he fortifies his revelations through reference to applicable biblical passages and psalms thusly demonstrating the wonderful consequence of living by the word, which transforms an average issue-prone life to a more fruitful, empowered and peaceful Christian life.
Well-paced and simple to follow, his stories demonstrate spiritual insights gleaned through the many instances where the need was significant and dedicated prayer provided the miraculous appearance of provisions and healings. They are stories in fact, which will leave you in awe, as well as heartily inspired, especially the extraordinary healings. Each story presents a relatable, enriching experience. While the stories range from instances of praying away roaches and gnats, to getting a homeless man to change his ways, or remarkable donations of soap or food when desperately needed, there is an appeal in the realization that life can be much improved and empowered by devoted prayer and staunch belief in God’s word. One story in particular, that I personally found to be extraordinary, is found in the section titled, Deliverance From a Mole, in which the author, empowered by dedication to scripture and prayer had an amazing healing experience with a cancerous mole being prayed off.
Summarily, The Journey, turned out to be, a creative narrative, both concise and compelling to read. While fairly brief, the book comprises a variation of incidences which range from the simplest of issues to the more challenging and complex. Each entry rings with authenticity and spiritual promise as they reveal easily relatable examples of scripture in action as life issues are overcome by prayer and dedicated faith. This is definitely a read worthy to all Christians of faith and a valuable addition to any Christian Library.
