The poems offer Godwin’s reflections on building a personal relationship with God, leaning on God’s promises during life’s storms, developing a healthy prayer life, repentance, forgetting past mistakes and failures, and forgiving ourselves.
This anthology is packed with deeply intimate poems of unique profoundness, clarity, and candor. They speak of keeping the faith even when life has little to offer. There, God in His might and strength, manifests Himself to save His own. Moving in free verse form, the entries demonstrate palpable and brilliant imagery using nature references allowing readers to imagine and visualize what the poet endeavors to convey.
