Author Ruperto Punsalan makes you look interestingly at numbers. The author makes you ponder profoundly about different numbers, whether calendar years, numbers in the Bible, or random numbers that you may not have previously paid much attention to. Our Report is an informative, fascinating, and intriguing book about theology, God, Jesus Christ, contemporary living, and spirituality. The author bases his information on past occurrences, the Bible, prophecies in the world, and living righteously. This reader enjoyed every bit of Our Report because of the random fun facts Rupert Punsalan drops in every chapter. The content in the book is majorly biblical, but the author finds ways of making the writing relatable to the readers and easy to understand.
This book is different. The author has mastered a means of making people relate to – and connect with – both random and significant words and phrases. Think of common phrases like ‘Everlasting Life’, ‘Supreme Being’, ‘Independence Day’, or ‘Sabbath Day’. These may appear like everyday phrases, but Rupert Punsalan assigns a deeper meaning to the words. The author breaks down each letter, bringing significance to every word. He also teaches the reader the correlation between the words and numbers. The writing may appear too technical at first, but readers will catch the drift with every new chapter. As a reader, you subconsciously enjoy and better comprehend the mathematics and theology work – much of which they probably never knew existed.
Ruperto Punsalan covers a myriad of topics in the book. The content is not just spiritual, as the author fuses in other ‘worldly’ subjects. You get to know God through numbers and words, and also learn about yourself as a mortal being and how you can better your life. History enthusiasts will appreciate the author for the history lessons about the many places and people the author wrote about. If you want to understand American politics and USA’s history, the author has chapters dedicated to that. If you are curious about the Old and New Testaments and certain historical events and their impact, Ruperto Punsalan has loads of content which will satisfy your curiosity.
Most everyone has a way of interpreting the Bible. No one way is right or wrong as long as people understand the Word. Rupert Punsalan, however, has a unique way of interpreting the Word. The author is detailed in his explanations and will make you understand better some Bible verses that may appear intricate at first. Two books you are assured of loving are in the Bible; the books of Isaiah and Revelation. There is a bonus as in Our Report, as Rupert Punsalan has a chapter where he discusses the number ‘666’. This number is contentious for multiple reasons, but the good author is here to help everyone understand its significance.
Our Report has made theology more enjoyable. Ruperto Punsalan’s work deserves a special place among books of this genre. The chapters have broad discussions, and the inclusion of numbers and breaking of words are nice concepts. Reading the book almost feels like you are gaining knowledge just by playing a game of numbers.
