In our world, it is impossible not to come across a situation in which faith and belief does not come into direct conflict with the discovery of new sciences and advancements in technology. The divide between believers and non-believers has never been stronger, and as a result questions regarding the validity of a particular belief system or aspect of that belief system begin to arise. The fight against doubt is something all believers have to struggle through, and as Henri Poincare once said, “To doubt everything, or, to believe everything, are two equally convenient solutions; both dispense with the necessity of reflection.”
In author Daniel Ukadike Nwaelene Thd’s Acting Movie Scripts or Fulfilling Prophecies? the author hopes to answer the question many unbelievers have about Jesus Christ, which is whether or not he was truly the son of God or an incredibly talented actor bringing the prophecies of old to life to make himself into the son of God. The author uses biblical references and scripture to detail each prophecy that was given about the savior, and how Jesus proved himself through these scriptures why he fit into the prophecy naturally.
The author did a great job of crafting a well-researched and captivating read. The amount of time and effort the author put into compiling this information was evident in the amount of detail the author included in his research, and the wealth of information the book included helped to illustrate the author’s message about Jesus and his actions which led to his inclusion as the son of God. The comparisons the author had of both the Old and New Testament accounts of what the Messiah would appear as and the actions he would take was in particular fascinating, as the Old and New Testaments have become a topic of debate even amongst the Christian faithful over the years, and seeing the author’s research and study of these subjects was engaging to behold.
This is the perfect read for those who enjoy non-fiction reads, especially those that are Christian or believe in the Christian teachings of Jesus Christ. I particularly enjoyed the history and culture study that this book provided, and the ways in which the author was able to connect and tie everything from Jesus’s appearance and attitude with the expectations that so many people had about the Messiah leading up to and during Jesus’s teachings.
Thought-provoking, engaging, and mesmerizing, author Daniel Ukadike Nwaelene Thd’s Acting Movie Scripts or Fulfilling Prophecies? is a must-read non-fiction book on religion and Christian faith overall. The structure and tone the author strikes brings a scholarly approach to the subject matter, while the faith aspect of the book brings a more personable touch to the reading experience. The terminology, history, and culture that ties into this subject made for a powerful reading experience.
