Aussie Knowhow continues to follow the story of David Grangler as he works with the super computer, Orack to correct some disasters that have occurred in the past. While striving to achieve those goals, he continues to consult with the president as they try to negotiate peace with Afghanistan and the Middle East, which begin to become compromised. Through his work, David has discovered bombings, disasters and major conflicts have been created by business gurus and blackmail is being used to gain control of the world’s wealth. The effects of the blackmail strategies have reached out as far as not only other countries, but also neighboring planets. The Granger family, Orack, and a variety of friends and family embark on an adventure filled with magic, illusions, mystery, and danger. The group travel between Earth, Atlantis, Genesis, and Dudgeon working to save each planet from the supreme commander and possible economic crisis. Could all of this lead Granger to a decision of retirement or will he continue his legacy?

What a thrilling tale Aussie Knowhow presents to readers. Johnson gives sci-fi readers everything they crave in a novel from compelling characters, exciting plot, a little bit of politics and a super computer that really kicks butt. He poses interesting outlooks on what the future could hold and how technology could impact the human race. Through this book, we see how big businesses could become corrupt and destroy economies. The author presents his readers with such a compelling story, readers will want to read more and ultimately become oblivious to everything else around them. It makes sense for one to lose track of time, lose sleep, or not hear conversations around them while reading because this tale is so engrossing.

Johnson makes use of long sentences, which at various points make it seem long winded. It makes one wonder if the way the book is written would be how David Granger would think; very fast, ideas and thoughts happening at once. But it works; the story still progresses smoothly and it is easy to follow and understand what Johnson is trying to convey through his words. If you are unfamiliar with politics or economics, that is okay. The author presents both subjects in a manner that is easy to understand. It is evident he made sure all readers would be able to enjoy his writing.

Aussie Knowhow is the perfect book for readers who enjoy science fiction, adventure, and action. This is a great novel for new genre readers to begin with. It is the perfect book to introduce readers to all the elements that make a science fiction novel special and unique. This series has so much going for it and so much potential to become a series that makes a name for itself. Because of this and more, readers will be excited for this book. Sci-fi fans should definitely add this book to their shelves.
