Sunopsis
This book is organized in three sections; first, the author foresees a type of automobile that can run on hydrogen. Secondly, a hydrogen station for a fill up to be initiated when running short of fuel, just like the present automobiles. Lastly, auto electrical and modules are covered. The author wrote this book because of the concerns over the danger that automobiles and industrial pollutants pose to the environment. This book seeks to provide technical change in automobiles and serves as instruction. The industrial revolution brought with it technological processes such as discovery of oil and its universal use throughout different industries and in automobile use. Environmental pollution became a problem both in developed and developing countries. Factors such as population explosion and urbanization invariably placed greater demands on the planet and over stretched the use of natural resources to the maximum. Fossil fuels are among the biggest sources of pollution. An alternative renewable source of energy is necessary to replace fossil fuels.
About the Author
The principal author, Christian O. Nweke, immigrated to the United States of America in the year 1983 from Nigeria and has worked in the capacity of auto service manager in an equipped workshop. He obtained prior Full Technology Diploma of City & Guilds of London Institute England in automobile and successfully graduated from Texas Southern University, Houston, with BS in the field of Power Technology in 1987 and a Master’s Degree in City Planning in 1994. In 1983, he had sorted ways to improve alternative renewable energy for automobiles propulsion. Therefore, in 1995, Nweke came up with a line pencil drawing of a car that will run on hydrogen on a piece of cardboard. This piece of cardboard drawing was placed on the visible side of his sun visor of his car to enable him to look at it every day to seek ways to make improvement on it. In the year 2000, he came up with the final drawings and decided to patent the invention. After obtaining the provisional patent, Nweke decided to share his idea with the new devices department of Ford Motor Company, who acknowledged his work and obtained permission to do publications in their journal to be distributed to their technical departments worldwide for possible usage. Nine years later, the United States Patent and Trademark office necessitated issuance of a patent to Mr. Christian Nweke in 2009 on this subject matter.
