Author Spotlight
Joe R. Fowler was raised in Wichita Falls, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS with honors, MS, and PhD in Mechanical Engineering. After two years with Texaco, he cofounded Stress Engineering Services, Inc. in 1972 and became President in 1984. In his 31 years as President, he oversaw the growth of Stress to a major consulting firm solving difficult technical problems for over 800 industrial customers a year out of 5 offices.
