Synopsis
A beautiful collection of poems written by a mother as she has travelled along the path of her life. This collection consists of some solemn and spiritual works, several Thanksgiving prayer-poems which depict all family members, a passionate 9-11 poem from a hands-on perspective, and three family deaths.

About the Author
Kathleen Dunleavy is a retired Patient Care Director at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She was on duty on 9/11, witnessed the smoke, and, with her Staff, hurriedly prepared their Unit, the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit, for possible admissions from the horrible tragedy.

Kathleen was widowed 21 years ago. She is the mother of four, two sons and two daughters, and grandmother of eleven, six boys and five girls, and, at the time of this writing, is awaiting the birth of her first great grandchild. For many years, she has written a Thanksgiving Poem/Prayer for Thanksgiving dinner which includes a verse for each family member.

Throughout her years as a mother, she has written poems relevant to her experiences as she has moved along the path of her life.
