Having taught for nearly two decades, she prior venturing into a professional writing career, wrote a number of short fiction pieces for school drama clubs. She has also written poems and plays for both children and adults. Mirriam B.C. Kabila was born in Luanshya, Zambia. She currently resides in Botswana with her wonderful husband and their three adorable sons.
