Synopsis

n the world of Avariu, there are as many majesties as there are tragedies. Vandelas Kronas—a young boy with two famous knights (well, one famous and one infamous) as his parents and role models—lives a simple, carefree life in a quaint little village to the south of the Vermalio kingdom before getting murdered the night of his birthday. And that is not even the most bizarre part. He survived, with only a gaping scar an inch deep from the fatal injury and even gained the power to freeze anything on contact. The pain and shock from that traumatic event finally motivated him to ask for his parents’ permission to take the training needed in order to follow in their footsteps. There is just one problem: he is a sheltered Kindhrin, a member of a dead race of insatiable, avaricious devils who destroyed their own homeland. Steadfast to his wishes, Van must learn to keep control of and strengthen his new power while hiding from an entire mansion of seasoned knights and the ambitious children he must work beside his true heritage at the risk of being put to death the moment he is exposed.
