This was a beautiful yet heartbreaking story of a man who was living his dreams and had them shattered, forcing him to pick up the pieces and put himself back together again. The writing was remarkable, as the author does a great job of capturing the voice and tone of the protagonist and reflects the changing locations to match the various dialects the protagonist used at different times in his life.

This is a book for anyone who enjoys good drama with bits of erotic thrown into the mix, as well as tales of people overcoming great tragedy to find life once more. The story is very much made for adults, with themes and specific scenes that will immediately draw fans of the genre in. The narrative really captures the art and heart of what life is all about, from a person’s darkest moments to the most passionate and heartwarming of them all.

This was a well written novel that showcased a powerful story of tragedy, perseverance and discovering what it means to come home once again. A story of starting over, not giving up on life and redefining one’s future, author Simonne Celestine’s book Barcelona Beckons is a must read novel for anyone searching for that next great erotica drama novel to draw them into the narrative immediately.
