Something a lot of people have struggled with over the years is the direction in which their lives will go. The need to find a purpose or a guiding hand to show them the way is often something that people will feel deep within themselves. Some people will turn to their careers or their families, but many will turn to the thing that has guided them throughout much of their lives, which is faith. Sometimes, this return or affirmation of one’s faith can come on the heels of what people believe is known as a vision. As Napoleon Hill once said, “Cherish your visions and your dreams as they are the children of your soul, the blueprints of your ultimate achievements.”

In author Norman Talsoe’s God, The Here, and the Hereafter: The Way to Heaven, the author speaks of a timetable for the coming biblical apocalypse. Written after receiving a vision that told him to write this book in particular, the author shares the important moments to come in the coming apocalypse, from the emergence of the anti-Christ, to the arrival of the False Prophet, and even the final battle between Satan and God himself, all within the book of Daniels seven-year timeline that was presented within the Bible.

The author did an incredible job of providing a detailed and well researched examination of the Bible, and in particular the exploration of the Book of Revelations as it relates to the end of times. The detailed way the author brings an exact timetable and lays out the events of the end times was very vivid and a use of imagery give readers a stark layout of what people can expect. The balance the author had with his own visions and understanding of his own messages from God with the research and biblical verses to back up his findings was great to see on the page.

This is the perfect read for those who enjoy non-fiction reads, in particular those who are interested in Christian and Biblical studies and the apocalypse that is described through the Bible, specifically in the Book of Revelations. I found the authors research and dedication to his craft inspiring, and I know religious readers will definitely find great interest in the author’s work.

Heartfelt, thought-provoking, and engaging, author Norman Talsoe’s God, The Here, and the Hereafter: The Way to Heaven is a must-read non-fiction book for Christian and religious readers seeking answers to how the final years of the world will go according to the Bible. The added personal element of the author’s own experiences and beliefs will make readers feel more connected to this book, and the expertise in which the author writes instantly draws readers into the studies that take place.
