In author Joe Irizarry’s Signs of the Times in 2020: The Beginning of Sorrows, the author sheds light on events in the Bible, and life today. Joe Irizarry writes extensively and in detail. One gets schooled about the Bible, how times have changed, and the role of religion. Reading this book will be a learning experience for many, as the author touches on a variety of subjects which were a concern to early Christians and even are still today to contemporary Christians. I enjoyed how Joe Irizarry writes because it is done objectively and modestly and he is impartial in his analysis; which encourages the reader to keep reading because of how knowledgeable he is.
Have you ever observed how the world moves and wondered what are the characteristics of the times we live in? Are the end times near? Is God trying to communicate with his people? These are questions to ponder about, and occurrences which bother the modern Christian. Joe Irizarry has answers to these -and more questions as he writes about the world today, and breaks down every point in a gentle manner in which readers who are not familiar with the discussed topics get to fully understand.
I found it very interesting when the author took a biblical approach when talking about certain occurrences which today’s believers face. Joe Irizarry has that ability to make the reader understand Bible characters and love the scripture more. I also admire how author added Bible verses for those who may need further reference. The frequent addition of the Bible verses makes it easier for one to follow the teachings he shares, plus other stories in the Bible.
This book will help readers lead a righteous life full of pure love. Joe Irizarry shares tips and words of counsel to believers who may feel broken and are in need of strength. The author talks about the love God has for everyone, and why it is important to trust in Him even during our lowest moments. Joe Irizarry writes like a concerned brother who is looking out for his kin. I applaud the author for being authentic and bold to talk about some topics which are not casually spoken about. Signs of the Times in 2020: The Beginning of Sorrows is the right book for you if you are feeling low and dealing with despair. There is strength in believing and having faith.
Some of the topics that I thoroughly enjoyed reading, and even revisiting, include topics about natural disasters, globalization, the Antichrist, and the rapture. These topics are strikingly written, with the author focusing on points which makes readers inquisitive. By the end of the book, the readers get to learn so much about the Bible, the persona of God, and living through these trying times. There is a prophetic tone in Joe Irizarry’s writing, which is distinct and is a great element in his writing. I was captivated within every chapter of this book, and will be looking forward to reading more books by Joe Irizarry.
