Author N. J. Lujan has written a book which is engaging throughout the story. The reader feels as if they are part of the story , as the book moves forward with fitting in twists to spice up the story. The book starts on a modest tone and develops to be intriguing as one reads further. The story was intense with the characters getting to be diverse in their roles so that the author’s character creation was incredible. The readers will enjoy following particular characters as the author distinctly created them, giving each special traits and sometimes wild roles. The flow of the story is remarkable too. At no point does the reader experience a break in between events. One can connect every narrative together fusing them into the main story.
Norma is not your regular girl. She has skills which exceed the average girl her age. Her life has been interesting as she has served many missions and been helpful to her agency. At no point did she let her superiors down. Therefore, when this moment comes and she is required to return to the agency for the Atropos-a covert government organization – will it be worth it? Norma is the type of person you would want on your team. She was determined and focused in her work. Norma makes working in the military seem fun. Her tactics are not always smooth, but she gets the work done. I enjoyed how she related with her colleagues and how she was able to stand for herself a lot of times.
Norma was wanted by the agency but the main mystery was yet to be unraveled. Was it her services they needed? We see how the agency though accommodating, can be manipulative to unsuspecting characters. We follow the good woman as she prepares for the mission and what the agency has in store for her. But why would the agency need her aid after all that time away? I enjoyed reading about Norma as I got to understand her character better with every new page. Mr. Donovan was another exciting character to follow. I appreciated how the author carved him, making him exceptional and interesting to follow. The twists and turns within the book will have your jaw drop as you follow the characters in their puzzling lives. I like the skill of the dialog author used and the arrangement of the story.
The suspense in the book is irresistible. The author knows how to entice readers by introducing subplots which increase one’s focus to finish the book. The plot gets intense in some chapters and some characters get to vanish from the main story. I enjoyed how the conversations felt real. The virtual tour around the locations the action took place was a pleasant experience. The Atropos Maker is a great read for those who fancy thrillers, drama, conspiracy stories, military fiction and a great plot. The climax of the story was not disappointing as the author solved most of the mysteries that were in the book.
