This is continuation of the Brooks family saga and Great Great Grandmother Annabelle in the third book of the A Dying Truth Exposed series. In this novel the family further learns about their family history and legacy left by Annabelle. She has settled into her new life with her Cherokee family, enjoying and learning the new role of being a mother. Throughout her days, she learns more about the family’s traumatic past. Once again conflict soon arises and the family must stand as one. This time along with the threat from the Indian Agents, Annabelle and her family face threats from the Lightning-Strongman family. Caught between two wolves, the family must now make daring choices to confront their past and once again fight for their future. But the question remains which would will they feed? Good or evil?
It can be hard to create a compelling family legacy story, but Marcus Abston has done that not once – but three times with his A Dying Truth Exposed series. The third book in this series continues to hold the audience captive and drags them into the Brooks family. One easily feels as if they too are a part of Annabelle’s family and fighting alongside her. Readers will not only get a great story about a family coming together to face hardship, but they will find one based on perseverance, and determination.
Abston has a talent for making the story come to life in away that makes the characters seem as if they are real people. He immerses his audience into a plot that is so complex and puzzling, it begs the readers to keep going. Abston’s writing is not only vivid and dramatic, but it is also so personal that reader’s hearts break as they progress through Annabelle’s family’s story. Book lovers will not find a better family legacy novel than The Two Wolves.
